NoPa
“North of the Panhandle” is a residential neighborhood carved out of the larger Western Addition neighborhood near the narrow eastern strip of Golden Gate Park. It has become one of San Francisco’s more popular areas. Divisadero Street, in particular, is home to many of the city’s hottest new restaurants, retail shops, and bars. A desirable residential area, NOPA’s signature Victorian homes, including the famous Painted Ladies at Alamo Square Park, are some of the oldest in the city. Its close proximity to the University of San Francisco, Golden Gate Park, downtown, and other neighborhoods make NoPa a real estate hot spot.
